The objective of this system is to use the maximum proportion of renewable energy, but also considering other factors including the financial investment, social aspects, local infrastructure, durability etc. The components and subsystems of this stand-alone power supply system based on renewable sources are interconnected to optimize the whole system.
We have used parabolic design of solar reflectors instead of using flat panels only, to concentrate the solar rays on the PV panel to increase its efficiency. Also we have used the vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT), instead of HAWT, which is used to work in low wind speed conditions. This type of wind turbine is reducing the turbulence, vibrations and the noise produced.
We are focusing on the installation of this project in rural areas, as stand-alone system or Off-grid system and distributed power generation. It is a clean energy producing system contributing to save carbon footprint.
